Sylvia and Family,
May our Lord's own words give you comfort and strength, "Today you will be with me in paradise." May God grant us all grace, mercy, faith, and continued blessings until we are all reunited with Him in heaven.
Many fond memories of our families over the years. I still remember (vaguely)going to the Vikings training camp one summer. My folks cherished your friendship over the years!
Take care and God bless!
Dave

Sylvia & Family,
Our heartfelt sympathy during this time of your loss. I feel honored to have been able to spend time with Glenn as the Grandchildren marked special occasions in there lives, confimations, graduations and just visits to the Pacific NW. I know your loss is great but the Lord has brought close to him a faithful servant. May you find comfort and strength in that knowledge.
My prayers are with all of you.

Sylvia and family, My heartfelt sympathy!! I have so many pleasant grade school and college memories. Glenn was truly an example of how to be a Christian teacher. May knowing that the man I called Mr./Professor Barnes is now waiting for us with our Heavenly Father bring comfort and strength to you during this time of earthly sadness. You are in my prayers.

May the beautiful words of Job 19:25-27 be a comfort to you all."I know that my Redemer lives...yet in my flesh I will see God... with my own eyes...how my heart yearns within me." I am sure that Glenn would have smiled knowing that his love for his Savior was shared with the National pastors here in Zambia. May the Lord dry your tears with His loving hand. Go With God.

Was my privilege to be Tim and Laurie's pastor for a short time at Good Shepherd in Burnsville, MN, and there to renew acquaintances with Glenn as he and Sylvia came to visit occasionally. I had known Glenn previously through contacts while an instructor at Saint Croix Lutheran High School in West St Paul. May God comfort the family with his presence and Spirit.

Dr.Barnes was a worthy foe in faculty meetings and faculty lounge bull sessions. Although we had lost track of him and his since leaving New Ulm in 1990, we mourn his passing and pray that hs family will find comfort in knowing that Glenn died in the Lord.
