Uncle Eddie was one of a kind. Known by all~ Love by all~ Our family had been blessed by having him as an uncle. We came to appreciate him more after the death of our Dad. Eddie and his sister, our Mom, (Leona) spent many Sundays up at Jackpot or Wednesdays in Wabasso for Saurkraut & Dumplings. Thank you for letting Mom spend his last days with her. He was more than a brother to her, he was a best friend as well. Neil will miss all the Magazines Eddie would give him. He would tell me, "Don't throw those magazines out that I got from Uncle Eddie!" Needless to say, we have a STACK of magazine!! Eddie made our daughter Brittany's wedding special, by chauffering them around in his Model A car. Priceless! We have lost an awesome Uncle, but heaven as gained a great Man! My sister Pam told me the news about Uncle Eddie when we returned from our vacation in Mexico, yesterday. I was sad to hear of his passing, and coincidently, Tuesday (the 26th) is the "25" year mark of my mom's passing. She will be there welcoming her brother, with open arms in the heavenly kingdom.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers, and may you be comforted by your good memories of your Dad.

We are so sorry about the death of your Dad. He was a Great Dad and one of the bestUncles we could have asked for. Even if we did not see him a lot we always knew what he and mom were doing and checking in on each other. We will miss him greatly.

I am very sorry to hear about Eddies passing, he was a good man and he always treated me like a son, I remember when I was a small boy I would ride with him in the gravel truck and on his track loader. I will miss him dearly!! and will be missed by many!!
